GDI 2600 Simulator at MNF, Entroncamento

Update for Portugal 79 - OPEN RAILS!

New decoration release:
Alfarelos to Coimbra-B
we have decorated further 19km (12mi) of track from Alfarelos to the city of Coimbra. The station of Coimbra-B itself is not finished has much of the scenery in the city, though the main buildings defining the cityscape are there. We have also corrected some minor things all the way down to Entroncamento, but there's still some things to correct with this release.

Wagons and Vans for OPEN RAILS

This week we have some baggage vans and wagons:

Pack CP Plataforms - including wagons types Lgmms, Rgs, Rlps, Rps, Sgs and Sds
Pack CP Plataforms 2 - including wagon types Sgmms and Sgnss
CP Ealos - open wagons
CP Sggmrss - container racks
And for last:
Pack of Containers - We will be having this pack with a lot of containers for use with Open Rail's new container management. It will allow for the loading and unloading of wagons provided the Routes have the dedicated cranes for that purpose. In the future our Routes will have it.

Algarve Route for OPEN RAILS

The Algarve Route is ready for download, once again. Now it comes with the new timetable-mode available. The timetable of the summer of 2001 is provided. You can download a graphic of the timetable here.
Some rolling stock necessary for the timetable mode is also made availabe:
CP1900 Alsthom Diesel locomotives
CP1800 Engish Electric Diesel locomotives
SEKKS autorack wagon
Df550 baggage van
About the Route, the old activities are available, but are not tested in Open Rails so you might find some errors. Adittionaly, the activity's briefings and texts are in Portuguese but we will make available the files in english, in the near future.

Open Rails version 1.5

The new 1.5 version of Open Rails is available since the last weekend. Top improvments for this version are:
-container loading and unloading.
-End Of Train(EOT) devices.
-64-bit lifts the 3Gb limit on RAM.
-Distributed power display, in-cab and on browser.
-HUD extended for diesel-mechanical locos..

Open Rails content distribution

With the opening of our website we will be focusing, in the comming weeks, on distributing content for Open Rails, a simulator which is running on version 1.4 - 1.5 will be comming in a very short time.
The content will be the old MSTS trains and Routes upgraded to take the most out of Open Rail's new functionallities. In a few days we will make available a GitHub repository with some of the reviewed and upgraded trains. Using GitHub may not be simple at first but there is a manual availabe, specificaly for the purposes of publishing Or content, made by one of the lead team management guys, Chris Jakeman. You can read the manual here.
